Default New to carforums, regular at OCN

Hey I'm sP00N. I have been a member of Overclock.net for a whole now, and I'm starting to get interested in cars. I live in Louisville Kentucky and I'm looking to buy a cheap Import Tuner to fix up and possibly do some drifting / drag racing

Any suggestions on what car I should get?

Lol well the tuner market has gladly jacked import prices waaaay up... So finding a drift worthy car will be hard and pricey, unless you can rebuilt it from the ground up. Most of the RWD imports are all bought up, and the few left for sale are either beat up real bad, or they are totaled.

240sx's are great drift cars, but need a good deal of work to be drag drift ready and not tear anything up on it... Mark3 supras can still be found, miatas are plentiful, rx7 keep dreaming.... 300zx tt's are still around, but have bad reliability issues... Its hard to pick a good starter car, your going to have to look very hard for just the right deal now days and be ready for a bit of work to do on the car.... $5k will not get you a drift ready car, i can assure you that.
