Talking New Supercharged Celica GT-S (recent mag cover ;) )

Hey everyone! I'm Dan, a 3rd year law student, broke and looking forward to graduation I have a slightly massive addiction to my car which my finance' tolerates to the best of her abilities. Nothing else too exciting. I sometimes mix spending $ on the car with the computer (recent i7 build up to 4.3ghz tri sli).

About the car. 1st off, it is a DAILY DRIVER. It is the only car I own. I had a 2001 Jeep Wrangler before this but transitioned to a more "economical" car when I went to undergrad at UF. I began slowly modding but after a trip to a H.I.N. I made the decision to have a car I could enter and eventually win. I have since exceeded both . I bought, repair, sold parts on ebay and car forums, sold parts for a company in japan on ebay and anything else i could do to get money to mod as I also had to pay for college.

I should also note i had no car knowledge before starting and everything was done between myself and friends as I cant afford to pay shops. As time progressed and I did better in shows I have obtained numerous sponsors full and partial.

The Audio was a recent undertaking between a friend and myself. We watched youtube videos on how to fiberglass and went head 1st into the audio build. It took 2 weeks, a week in his driveway and a week in mine. I am very pleased with the results both audio and visual.

The engine block is still stock. However last year we installed a Eaton MP62 Supercharger with the greddy supercharger kit. I am at the original 9psi and went from 150whp (180 crank) to ~220WHP (~260'ish stock). I can get to about 240 before the piston lands break. After that everything will hold till much higher HP.

For Daily Driving i normally jack up the coilovers, throw on a stock front bumper and remove the audio. The audio can come out in about 45min (after many trial and errors to get the right sequence).

Currently the car is in a million pieces as the Veilside exterior, lambo doors are sold. We are currently working on an intercooler for the supercharger (CNC'ing a new manifold, piping etc as there is currently no option for an intercooler) also a smaller pulley for more PSI

Looks sweet. I'm a Subaru guy myself.
Part of my is broken inside when I see both massive subwoofers and a racing interior (seats, harnesses, etc). I assume you don't actually do any track days with the audio system installed?

I did 1 time on a road course. After i quickly removed the subs and threw them in a friends car. Each corner i'd watch the subs move. The next time around was much more fun

As it is a daily driver (only car) i normally remove all of the audio setup if i dont have shows for a month. I may leave a sub or 2 in for daily usage but I also want to keep it as less of a target. Along with being a target, the audio weighs a ton. my coilovers are up near 2" higher when the audio is out and tucks when its back in. I say with the supercharger and audio in i'm back to stock speed

Dam buddy that ride is sweet! I'm kinda stuck for questions though since you put so much info into your original post though Are you in U.S.A. then?
