Default Hi Everyone.

Hey guys.

OCNer here. Don't know a thing about cars, so I'll probably just read for a while. Hope to learn a fair bit.

EDIT:
<------ Do we start with 10 REPs here?

And that's the extent of cluffenstein's knowledge

Yeah dude, if nothing else you'll learn a ton from just posting here. You don't necessarily have to post possible fixes, you can just discuss things

Activity is good

Hey, I know how to do oil changes, change starters, wheel barrings, change alternators, plugs, wires, differential fluids and gaskets, rotate tires, balance and mount/ unmount tires, etc.

not bad for a semester of shop!

I learned oil changes from my dad, figured out how to change a starter, wheel bearing is pretty straightforward, just bolted in unless it's a Honda., alternators consist of two bolts for almost any Chevy. Plugs and wires from dad, Never done a differential (Rcars2 is doing mine) rotate tires consists of work(!!?)?

Haha, yes, all of my (very finite) knowledge has been culled from either Haynes or Carforum.net.

That is the most painful thing I've ever had to do on any car EVER, it took my dad and I about 2 days to hammer out the bearing from its hiding place on my Acura. As if it was welded in there and then coated with cement. Putting the new one in wasn't too bad but it still took another 6 hours to get it right.
