Default Also another from OCN

Whats happening carforum,
I have been a member over at ocn for a quite a while. And noticed some members over there are also members here.

I turned 16 a few months ago and got my first car just recently, a 1997 Ford F-150 xlt. I love it, just have to get my liences (on permit right now) and new tires as the tires on the truck are completely worn out.

I wish i had join sooner so i could do a mini log-book of my truck.

I got it about 2 weeks ago. Had a major issues on first day. After paying for the car and taking it for a test drive, it broke down. A fuse was pop and had it repaired. Was pissed big time, and currently dealing with the dealer for money repairments.
Then last weekend i had "extremely" cleaned out the car and wet-vacummed the rug, a lot of dry coffee came out.
In the back, house oil paint was dried onto the lining, which i spend a few hours scrapping off, it looks much better now.
I had to replace the windshield wipers since they were completely worn out but it was cheap to replace. However, the fliud pump is broken and needs to be repair before winter (living in connecticut)
There was not even an antenna on the damn truck, so I'm in the process of replacing the entire thing, new cord and rubber antenna.
Of course i have polished it . I will show off some pictures eventually.

Hope I can get some help in the future and help others on here as i have on ocn.

Welcome to the forum. Good to see you have interest in cars and that you are working your way up from the smaller fixes to the bigger.

The windshield washer fluid bottle has leaked in the silvy for the last 5 years. Haven't bothered fixing. They're notorious for it, and it's hard to replace supposedly. In the winter, we just turn the defrost on, stop, throw a bunch of snow on the windshield. Problem solved

I dont mind getting the washer pump getting fixed, its only $30 repaired (estimated).

Anyway after today. Its clear to say, its the entire cable wire, not just the ends, but the antenna wire from antenna to the stereo. When i put the antenna to the new wire to the stereo, it worked, but never worked with the old one.
So tomorrow I'm gonna have to take the right front wheel off, the fender off, and replace the wire.
I may have found a leak under the truck...
I am pretty mad at the seller
So much work to do to this truck...

Will make a new thread work log soon.

It's unknown actually.
My dad simply went to look under the car and saw some "liquid" on a peice of metal. Couldnt tell if it was dripping on the ground, the truck on the grass.
But its right under the console in the truck. Gonna check it out tomorrow as well.

Yeah could just be some condensation if it was recently running.
