Default Hello World

Hello all! I found this site through OCN and thought I'd finally join after lurking around a bit. I finally got my license last week (long story as to why it took so long...), and it feels awesome to finally have it after all those years

My car is a 2000 Ford Taurus. I'm planning on installing a subwoofer eventually; it already has an aftermarket head unit (Kenwood KDC-MPV5025) that came with it when I bought it.

I don't know much about cars, so I hope I can learn a lot from CarForum!

The Yamaha 3.0 wasnt available after 1995 when they killed the V6 SHO. The Yamaha V6 was only available in the SHO.

There were three 3.0 engines in the Taurus:
3.0 Yamaha (1989-1995)
3.0 Vulcan 12V (1986-2007)
3.0 Duratec 24V (1996-2007) - not Yamaha
