Default Haters gone hate.

Hi. I'm the same Kamikaze127 from OCN. Big surprise.

I drive a 2006 Kia Spectra. And yes. I made the decision to buy it. It's only got 50k miles and will serve me as a great daily driver well beyond college.

Since there are no good Kia forums, I decided to join up here LOL. But here's the whip as she sits now.

Recently took it on a road trip to Lincoln City, OR. A week ago.

Basically my main goals with the car are to buy a new grille for it, and a OEM style spoiler to dress it up a bit and make it look sportier. Some fog lights would be useful too. Much like this car:

And then get a Yakima roof rack for my bike/skis. And a new head unit on the stereo (the stock one sounds good, but I have no AUX jack for my Zune and no cassette deck).

So yeah. I own a Kia, and I actually like it.

Back in Cali my buddy had a Kia while he was trying to get his G35 fixed(bought it with a salvage, front end damage). He beat the living dog piss out of it and it just took it. Was also a 5 speed so he got great mileage out of that thing.

Not a bad car, they newer Kias are really getting close to the level of quality of the Domestic and Japanese cars.

It actually looks pretty decent on the steelies.

And welcome to CFN, and Merry Christmas btw.

It seems kind of odd to me that I would, but I really like your kia. There's something about it that looks so sleeper-ish, even though it is likely a mechanically stock auto equipped I4.

I suggest that if you do anything to the wheels to keep it either an OEM alloy or a decent set of hub caps. I personally think the steel wheels look nice against the silver of the car, but you may have plans to dress up the car further than what you have said so far.

I like the second Kia's grille as well.

I really never thought I would be saying that I liked a Kia....You learn something new every day.
