Default Model T Argument

So I went to a antique place and I got a really cool wood handcarved model of a Model T Roadster for $8.00. I couldn't quite put my finger on the type of vehicle it was but I remembered from watching an old Ford assembly video when I was doing mechanical engineering in college seeing something similar. So I asked my cousin what he thought it was and he said he didn't know and I said I thought it was a Model T or something like it. So I find later that it is Model T Roadster from the Internet and I say later, happily, that I was right and it was a Model T. My cousin, however, says blatantly, no you were wrong it was a Model T Roadster not a Model T. So we got into an argument. Not that I know quite why but I surmise it is because he likes to be a smart aleck and doesn't like it when someone appears to have known more than him. So the question is: was I right in saying that it was a Model T or is it necessary to specify it is a Roadster to be correct. Not completely correct just correct. Like you could even just call it Model T if you wanted.

It's frustrating when someone is so adamant about something like this but really I'd just let this one go. I mean really. Who cares?
