Haha, my F-150 had newer tires, a freshly rebuilt front end and my MAP woes are mostly worked out. I think if I fix the rest of the EGR/MAP **** it will have a little more in it.

Actually, I've used my Droid's speedo app. It maxes out in fourth gear at about 87-90MPH. That's all she's got with that gearing, just not enough torque to put more on in fourth.

I haven't tried any speed runs in third, where it's back in the power band, Kinda scary to be going 90+ in that thing even if the ball joints are good. Even scarier with the front end the way it is now

Actually Lotus builds their cars F1 style. The driver is in a safety cell that is NOT going to crush in. The rest of the car will explode but the safety cell should remain intact.

I have that same problem. Here I am going 85 in a 70 in the hammer lane passing a line of cars and there's ALWAYS some rude individual six inches off my ass. It's usually either A: A Christmas Tree, B: A Prius, C: Some large SUV or other pickup or D: Some idiot ricer that thinks he can intimidate a vehicle twice it's size.

And I don't even back down to the christmas trees...

I dont know about what your gears are, but in my 4th (1.00) I top out at around 72MPH and thats revving the crap out if it (like 3300RPMs...) with my gears, so with overdrive is the only way I can get above that haha....

First = 32MPH
Second = 68MPH
Third = ??? above 100 somewhere
Fourth = 90MPH if I shift into it before I hit that point, no clue if I shift in at the top of third.

Haha, with them gears you got you probably could hit 110 if you had a death wish...

Fourth isnt an overdrive is it?

My third gear takes me to like 48MPH... my peak power and torque come in 4th gear, thats when you can really really feel the truck PULL....

Actually...Fourth is an OD.

It actually says on my sun visor not to even think about going near fourth if you're towing ~2500 pounds or more. Also we need to stop getting sidetracked with these little discussions lol

C'mon man, really? If you are going to get a sports car at least be safe, don't be stupid, sorry to call you stupid but if you are whipping that thing around and aren't wearing a seatbelt you are.

PLEASE, take it out to the track and vent. Go as fast as you want out there and just get it out of your system. Fast cars are cool. People who drive them/ride in them unsafely aren't.

I bet it wouldn't hurt you to go take some driving classes at a local track either. Just my 2 cents.

This is what the rest of the Lotus world thinks of Mr. Luka Magnotta. Sorry this guy makes us Lotus owners look bad.
