Many of imports out there can, most are built for track, but are still street legal, and get driven on roads. Most major Supra's, Skyline's, Evo's, STI's, can out accelerate a veyron and other exotics... Keep in mind that a veyron by no means is light. Its a fairly heavy car.

It does 0-60 in 2.5 seconds and 0-100 in 5.5 so I wouldn't say most major tuned street legal cars will beat it but a couple can. Notably a Hennesy Viper or a Lingenfelter Corvette.

That evo is nothing compared to the new AMS tuned Evo VIII.

Yeah that is a fast Evo. I have actually seen that video before. Unfortunately that Evo isn't as fast as a Veyron. Its close but not quite there. There are some major tuned vehicles that are as fast as a Veyron though and a couple that are a good bit faster. A Lingenfelter TT 427 Corvette can do 0-60 in 2 seconds and the 1/4 in 9.3 seconds. Do you have any statistics on the AMS Evo? I don't doubt that it could be that fast.

I dont know any other numbers on it other than it set a record in the low 9sec- High 8sec quarter mile time, and has over 940WHP.All AMS cars run NO nitrous.

1: Beef up an RX-8 to the max, out accelerate a Bugatti Veyron no, but with the right mods it might be a worthy opponent for it.

No way to judge how fast that Supra is other than fast from that video but it doesn't seem as quick as a Veyron launch. The civic gets to 140 in ten seconds from a rolling start. The Veyron is a little faster than that.
