Angry The Car Shop, Middleton, UK

I just wanted to post this.

Myself and my Fiancee went to look in this sales shop on the 7th Jan 07.
When we got there a sales assistant approached us and asked some general question.
My Fiancee explain that basically we were not going to buy yet but were here to look at the type of car we want. We continued to explain as yet we were unsure what type of car we wanted.
The salesman told us that the policy of The Car Shop is that he must stay with us, so we said well we are only here to look and if he wanted he could serve someone else. He became very rude at this point and said that he was wasting his time with us and would we come to work for nothing. Again we explained that he did not need to stay with us and then the sales peron wonder off.
We continued to look and after a minute this same sale person approached my Fiancee and basically asked why we were still here. My Fiancee said that it is not a crime to look as it is a shop, The Salesman then said actual it is and this is not a shop but a showroom. I asked to speak to the manager who again was very rude and said that his sales people need to stay with the customer when they enter, we explained that we did not want any help and just wanted to look. The basic outcome is we were asked to leave because we were not buying.
Now as I understand things when you buy a car you do not go and buy the first car you see, instead you look at the best deals and the type of car you want. After all it is not cheap to buy so you need to spend your money wisely.
After this treatment we recieved from this firm I would advice people to stay away

I bet they have a repair shop that will only fix things when they actually break. As in your waterpump is leaking but it still works, come back when it breaks. Your engine is overheating but has not yet blown up yet. If you know a cop take him with you. Talk to the owner. If you were going to buy a car like the ones they sell go buy one from somewhere else. After you buy it. Take a week off and go back to the dealership [rude one] and harrass them. ask a million questions take long test drives. if they say you can only turn right say that you have 5 left turns on the way to work and your last car made you feel uncomfortable turning right. When you do take the salesman with you put him in the back seat. Let him know that you want to see how the car is when you are alone but understand that he has to stay with you. Or have him sit up front and turn the heat up to full blast. If you can come with like a cash down payment to throw in their face to let them know you are a serious buyer. When you drive make the worst stops ever. accelerate like its a race. and ride on everyones arse so that your passenger is paranoid. If you pass a gas station. pyll in and pick up a six pack of beer. Let him know your going to need it for the drive home. Drive them crazy. That is what i do to telemarketers. The last one i had repeat his sales pitch 5 times then i said i had a business related phone call and could i put him on hold. I then had my friend get on the phone and say who were you holding for. I have a telemarketer tell em to go screw myself. I said why should i screw myself when i just screwed you. People like this are skum treat them that way. Even if it wastes your time it will be worth it. I am about to buy my GF a scion and the sales person was very rude because we were taking so long. So on the test drive he wanted all right turns. I took a right turn and towards the end of the road i pulled a 180 with the hand brake. He screamed. I said this is part of what i need the car for. I plan to make a drift car out of it. Needless to say he insisted that he drive back i said if you get out the car I am not. I took him back and parked the car sideways in the entrance to the dealership. I then told the seller to get learn how to treat your customers.

The best part about salespeople is that they dontknow everything about the car. Alot of us know more about the car then they do. The scion seller thought that the CD player was an option but it is standard on all scions All TCs have standard sunroof. The guy was quoting me prices on how much extra it is.
