Default Just Got Back

So I just got back from Texas Motor Speedway after my 8 laps in a Nextel Cup car as part of the Be a Petty Driving Experience. Top speed was 138mph, average was 122.7mph, fastest lap was 44.01 seconds (wouldn't let you go much faster). About the coolest damn thing I have ever done. Small block V8 sounds soo pretty... Yet another very expensive hobby... I'll get some pictures up later.

Sadly, any spinning of the tires was frowned upon by the directors... but I did squeak the tires shifting into fourth on the back stretch.

Too bad they have alot of restrictions. How fast do those things take off though.

I picked up a brochure for something like that at Dover speedway...bout $400 for 3 laps

I think for 10 laps it was $900.

Heh, I would be so tempted to ignore them and just let that poor thing breath. I know it's capable of ALOT more than 130 at Texas, the urge to speed would more than overpower me...
