Default Raced a Mustang Yesterday...

...if you want to call it racing.

I started to pass him, and he sped up, so I sped up, and so on until we were at about 130. After that, he started to get away from me. Kind of expected though since I was in the commuter car.

I had fun though, even if I got beat.

it looked like a pre 2005 mustang. I couldnt catch anything else. I know he had some aftermarket stuff on it though. His blinker was cool. It flashed the three segments of lights in the direction of the turn signal in series. It was neat.

Ha nice .. that is fun. I did that with a 93-ish mustang vs my hyundai sonata. I can confirm my sonata just might possibly maybe got exactly at least 142+mph.

I also remember when my wife got her 2000 Celica GT-S and it was so new looking people would check it out (it was a POS). Some guy raced me in a Saab 900 from a Toll Booth. He was cool enough to give me the horns when I blew past him.

My Buddy and I were in his 2004 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. It's only mod is a Cold Air Intake. A Mustang wanted to race so I told him to race. My friend's Eclipse was behind for a couple seconds, but then pulled ahead. It was, I guess, between a 94-97 V6 Mustang. Apparently with no performance mods.

Well mine has a V6 in it so there is plenty of power potential I think, but the ECU limits it at 132, and it isn't that hard for me to get there...

Today I was in the mood again, so instead of turning down the road to go home, I got on the highway. While on the service road, lo and behold, a Mustang Cobra shows up on the highway going about 70, so i pick up the pace to get on the highway beside him and at first i didn't think I was gonna get any race out of him. It was him and his girlfriend and he was probably about my age. I kept beside him, bumping the gas to make my car sorta lunge forward a bit, but I didn't look at him or anything. He finally gave in and we went at it for about a mile, but HE FELL WAY BEHIND at about 120! WHY?

There is no way I could beat a cobra. It's impossible. Explain please!

I am almost positive he didn't give up either because I saw him hitting the steering wheel like he was pissed because it wasn't going any faster.

It was fun anyways, it got my adrenaline going.
