Default Removing Gages

So I just got a pretty nice prelude, kinda fixed up for only 4700, love the car just one minor thing that I would love to remove just so police won't see me any more suspicious of racing then what it already looks like.

The piece I want to remove is the rmp gage right above my dashboard on the right hand side ( driver sear ), I removed all the screws right now but the wiring seems to be put in from inside somewhere, what do I have to do to remove this?

You don't "need" to remove the wiring, but you might want to at least tape up the wires so you don't fry anything!

You will have a minimum of 3 wires. Ground, power, tach, and possibly a dash light wire. The most important ones to protect are the power & tach. Tape them up so that they don't short against each other or to ground. Poke them into the dash.

Personally I would remove the wires on my own car. It's up to you.
