Default Check out the new race car!

1985 Mazda RX-7. Fully built for spec RX-7, though it won't be run as such.

$4,000, came with 2 sets of wheels, 5 sets of tires, spare tranny, spare carb, spare rotors (for the front), bearings, all seals where replaced, spare hood, spare fenders, spare hatch glass, the list goes on...

Upgrades alone put on the car total around $5,000.

Hehe, we have a lemons race coming up here soon, or maybe they already had it, I can't remember.

This is no lemons car though. It turns a pretty fast lap, not anywhere near the mustang, but I don't care if this one gets beat up so I can take it into competition!

Awesome. I love racing with actual people and actual budgets, not LeMons budgets but stuff like what you have. I mean I like LeMons, I find the entire concept awesome. However I like a little more meat on the bone if you know what I mean.

I know a guy that has one just like that, except the horridly ugly cream color nice car for screwing around, but not enough room for a DD.

It's been heavily modded already. Upgraded suspension, racingbeat carb (best kind you can get for these), Hawk Blues, HD strut mounts. I may break the engine down and take a die grinder to it to open her up and get some more HP but I am going to keep it like it is till I get comfortable driving it. It's completely different from the stang.

I've heard you can drop a small block ford in it quite easily though.

Car was bought like that. I may remove them and have someone re-paint it but only if I can get it done for cheap. The numbers have to stay or I have to replace them with new numbers. Can't run out at the track without numbers.
