Mine are fairly badly warped too, which I know from experience that generally if you turn a rotor that is warped, they have a high chance of rewarping.

Nope, brakes were all original according to the PO.

It can be done. Use less braking sooner. My dad put about 150k on his pads for the suburban.

Nominal thickness is 26.2MM machine to is 24.89MM Discard is 24.51MM. Not a set of rotors in the world that Fit a S-10 Blazer that wouldn't wear through less then 1.31MM of material in 200K. Last owner is forgetting something of lying. That's a fact unless someone makes Carbon brakes for it.

Very possible most of GM's truck lines from 2002 up last 100-150K on the first set of pads.

OP what did you decide?

He passed 200k and is still on the original rotors. Pads usually go first.

My wife drives my car about 25% of the time, last time she took it out for a couple of weeks is when the rotors warped...she is hard on brakes.

Was about 190k, but still. I'm almost positive they were original.

GP went 160k on the original pads, still had some left. I know that 100% because we owned it from like 20k miles. Rotors were still in tolerance but we chucked them anyway instead of having them turned. I turned the Blazer's rotors myself.
