Default WTB > 4G63(T) and Others

Hello everyone. This is basically my introduction as I'm on a hunt for some parts to restore this beauty of mine.

I found a slightly run down 92 Eclipse, however I've got it running and in shape.. only I've come to find a few problems with it along the way.

1 : I need the 4G63 or 4G63T to throw in it. The 4G37 just isn't going to cut it for me.

2 : An exhaust System. The exhaust system that's on it is slightly eaten away and it leaks. not badly, but enough to cause performance difference.

3 : Driver-Side Brake Caliper. The one on this one is in decent shape, only the valve on it is rusted in place and no matter what I do to it, I can't get it out. I may as well replace it. Retail prices of these things are outrageously $80+ at the moment however.

4 : Wheels/Tires. The wheels/tires that are on the car are 'OK' but I wouldn't trust them with more than a 10 mile drive before they gave out. looking for 16'-17's. They don't have to be a specific brand, but they need to be 5-lug, of course.

Hey, welcome to the forum. First off, have you tried a junkyard for the calipers? Make sure you check the action and the seal it, though - I usually just pay the $80, as brakes aren't something I like to buy used. (You might be able to get a decent reman for it, though - and there's usually a $10-$20 core charge for your old one, as well.)

And as for the exhaust system, I always recommend a flowmaster.

Well... I don't need new BRAKES. I need the Caliper. o.o ... Just a replacement. I have new brakes for it, Just need the Caliper.

Also, The Exhaust system, I can't find one, save for Pacesetter, for this model that isn't Set up for AWD Turbo. It has the 4G37 in it as of right now. If I can buy the 4G63T for it, then yeah, there won't be a problem.
