Default TPMS Questions

Hi everyone,

I have a 2010 Accord Coupe V-6 and I'm planning on putting some winter tires / wheels on soon.

I've seen some mixed answers on this subject, but does anyone here know what kind of impact not getting a set of TPMS sensors along with the new wheels would have?
Aside from a light coming up (which I wouldn't care about), I've heard that it could potentially mess with the VSA/traction control, but I have really have no clue

Also if I don't put sensors on the winter set, would I still need to reprogram the ones from my summer set when I put them back on?
None of my previous cars have had this kind of stuff on it, so it's all new to me

Thanks in advance,
CV

Traction control relies on input from the ABS wheel sensors.

The persistent light should be the only drawback.
