Default To sipe, or not to sipe....

Is it worth having my tires siped? Better performance is always welcome, but is this going to make them wear faster/stranger?

i personally love siped tires..... some people will argue that it increases "wear&tear" on tires, but i do racing in Portland (Portland International Speedway ftw) so having the extra performance is really nice.

Heh, if my truck wasn't chewing it's front tires up I might try this. However, twin I-beam Ford front end = raping tires one mile at a time, the sipes would be ground out too fast to make their presense known.
