Default Camry97 making rattling sound.....

hey, do you guy know anything about the 97 Camry have a rattling sound from the two front wheels whenever I'm driving alone especially when running over a small road bump or a crack, but the sound is hard to notice when there are 2 or more people in the car. Any idea, does this mean I need to change the strut or else, it has been like this for about 6 yrs. I heard other Camry owners said that they're having similar issues with their 96,97 Camry too. Any thought? thanks.

it could be the struts..the only other thing i can think of is if you have hubcaps, i have seen them come lose overtime and rattle.

Struts, strut bearing plate, swaybar links or bushings, rack&pinion bushings, control arm bushings, or just something loose in the body. All these can cause that.

i would bet on the struts, they should be replaced, they are 11 years old now.
