Default Tires a little different. Will work?

Hello guys I have winter tires for my Mitsubishi Lancer 195/60/15. My friend got tires 195/65/15 that I want to buy. Do you think it will fit on my rims and there will be no problem during the winter? Thanks.

Yes, that'll be fine.

How that second number 65 will affect handling?

Taller sidewalls. But only a fraction. Not at all a difference in handling.

will work just fine --- after you get them mounted on the car as they are a bit wider you should be sure that they do not rub on the fender well or the car frame == with the front end up in the air turning the wheel to check this is very easy ....

Why would you check fender clearance with the car up in the air..?

If you really must use the wrong size tires put the on the rear so they won't screw up the speedo. However the ABS might act funny.

Just buy cheap tires that are the proper size.
