Default This may be a stupid tire question

I had a flat tire the other day. I took out the spare and it was a brand new tire, so I took off the spare rim and put the rim from the flat onto the new one. So I now have one brand new 100% tread tire on the back right of my truck and the others have about 10%. Is that going to effect my ride? I have been having some problems where it feels as if my tire is flat and my car is fighting me to go forward while in drive, anyone have any suggestions?

If your spare is the same size tire as the others, and the air pressure is correct in all 4 tires, it should drive fine. If not you have other problems like worn steering or suspension parts.

I was thinking that the new tire could be the only cause because my truck had never done that before the new tire was put on. Maybe I just need to get al new tires and get an allignment.

If the rim is straight and the wheel is balanced you should have no problems.

Well, if the weights are still on the rim from the old tire, it could be WAY off balance. I'd check for wheel weights and remove any you see. It HAS to be better with no weights then having the old weights in a random location.
