Default Best Highway Tires

I live in Las Vegas and I often do cross country travelling/long drives. My question is what brand of tires should I go for? I am looking at several brands online. Please help. I have a 2009 Ford Ranger XLT.

By "Highway Tires" do you mean that most of your milleage will be occumulated on an open, straight road at cruising speeds?

If so, than based purely on your description, you are likely to need a Tire with good heat-ressistance properties (A rating for Temperature in the UQTG ratings) and low rolling ressistance.

Any Tire with those characteristics, provided it's well inflated and replaced in good time, will work very well.

How big a part does driving in town, bendy roads or off of the road entirely do you expect to have?

If you are going to be doing a fair share of driving in none-highway conditions such as these, than your Tire choice might differ slightly.
