Default Car drifts after tire rotation.

My 200sx used to drive completely straight, but I don't think there was ever a rotation done on it. I did one myself, correctly, moving the 2 front directly back and criss crossing the back ones to the front. Now it drifts, a lot. I have to hold the steering wheel to the left to keep straight. Is this normal, and will an alignment fix it?

Most likely you have unevenly worn rear tires, which when put on the front cause it to move around wierdly.

Yeah unevenly worn tires...which is caused by an alignment not getting done. Get one done now, should fix it and if the tires aren't too bad yet they'll be okay.

Agreed a alignemnt and I would replace the tires.

Would it not be possible for unevenly applying rear brakes to wear tires differently on a per-side basis? If one tire has to do more work stopping than the other it will wear much faster.

True but it would atake a long period of time to notice a difference. Also they would still wear even meaning it wouldn't pull although Torque steer may increase.

Is it not possible that the OP might be confusing torque steer with a wierd pull?

the description says drift which usually implies cruising off the gas pedal, but anything is possible.

Yeah, tire pressure is good.

The brakes in the back haven't been replaced in who knows how long, but their drums so I don't care too much. The front brakes are practically brand new.

Edit: Also, it happens both when im applying gas or just cruising.
