What engine do you have in your A6 and what year? You can put an aftermarket turbo charger on any car if you have the money for it. Check out AWE tuning. They are one of the bigger Audi tuners out there.

It's a V6 2.8L, i haven't done anything to it yet, i pretty much just got it. it's a 1998, do you think there are other cheaper upgrades that would be more worth it? i just noticed that there's a point when if i push the gas pedal any further, it doesn't give more power, like the gas isn't exploding the right way. if i'm already traveling kinda fast, i can see that it helps, so it's not like more gas isn't bieng put into the engine.

I would start with intake upgrade and manifold-back exhaust...

After a short search on goolge it seems that most of the good parts for your car are for the 2.7T motor, not the 2.8 NA

just make sure that anything you do the intake, you do something to the exhaust as well.... you cant benefit from a Cold air intake unless you lessen the restriction in the exhaust for example.

The chips are typically the highest HP gain/$. So they are a great addition, but like i mentioned before, it will really maximize performance, and is typically required with the chips to have after market exhaust and intake before installing it. Also, make sure the cooling system is up to par, because the engine will produce a bit more heat with the new chip in it.

A lot of those chips will really negatively affect your gas mileage so keep that in mind before you get one. Audis especially are tuned very conservatively from the factory so you can get a bit of extra power of them with a chip, but some of them are scams so be sure you are going with a reputable company.
